Place Des Vosges

Interior design of a double height apartment located in Place des Vosges.

A radial system of tapering hardwood boxes -internally lined with mirror polished stainless steel- vertically spiral to form a combined grand staircase, bookcase and mezzanine.  The installation provides a physical connection to the client’s neighbouring apartment. Fitted with an industrial grade kitchen and shower room, the design fulfils its dual requirements as both an extended dining/entertaining space for the neighbouring flat, and as an autonomous apartment that could also be used independently by visiting guests for short periods.
