A detailed journal on the Design Museum Holon building, written by Ron Arad and Asa Bruno, tracing the evolution of the project from its inception as an idea for a gallery within a crumbling local authority building, and into a newly built, internationally acclaimed design museum.
Through anecdotal and playful dialogue between personal observation, sketches, construction site photos, diagrams and graphics, the book structure echoes the spirit of the museum itself and sheds light on the people and processes behind the architecture.
The book is published to coincide with the celebration of the museum's 5th year of activity. It is designed as a collectible object, and includes a patinating steel paper knife, for readers to use in the process of revealing the narrative contained within its perforated French-folded pages.
