Le Coq Sportif

2012

Logo design

The new logo was designed in time for the 100th anniversary of the Tour de France, the main sponsor of which was Le Coq Sportif. Retaining the triangle of the previous version, it is here used as an organising principle rather than an explicit part of the logo. The form of the cockerel was made more dynamic, sportier than previously, as well as being turned from a dismissive left to a progressive right.
